The Smashing Pumpkins - Live at Helsinki

Billy Corgan has never been one to make small gestures.  His infamous temper and perfectionist tendencies led to a wide rift with the original members of Smashing Pumpkins but produced some great rock gems over the years.  With the Smashing Pumpkins tour dates getting underway in October in support of their 44-song musical opus Teardrops by Kaleiyscope, Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins new lineup are nearing completion on the next set of 13 songs in the series titled Oceania.  Corgan notoriously played all the instruments in the studio recordings of some of the Pumpkins classic records like Siamese Dream with his bandmates only paying on tour but details surrounding the band’s current recording process have been shrouded in mystery.  Smashing Pumpkins tickets to see their latest set of shows should be eye opening.

Smashing Pumpkins News!

The smashing pumpkins @ PepeWorld 2007

Bill Corgan and his new Smashing Pumpkins line up are taking the show on the road once again with The Other Side of the Kaleidyscope tour and they’ve just started up their very own record club where you can get a early demo of the Pumkins’ classic first single Drown in exchange for your e-mail address. Corgan said that there will be loads of free stuff given away through the club, what that means is anyone’s guess. Just get the new album done already.
